Character Study #1

Trying out some different stuff.  These are some sketches of a character from an adaptation of one of my short stories.  Not quite what I'm looking for, but heading in the right direction.

Done for the weekly drawing challenge over at IMWAN. The challenge was to draw your favorite fantasy/sword and sorcery character. Mine is Bone, from Jeff Smith's comic series.

Day One - Part 2

This is part of a new strip I'm developing. Whether this will be part of a finished product or not remains to be seen, and while it's far from perfect, I kind of like this particular panel.

Day One

Starting a daily art blog. The goal is to draw SOMETHING every day. Generally this will be a quick drawing or sketch or a work in progress. Links will be posted to finished strips as they are posted. Generally, what you see here won't be all that pretty or interesting, as the point is for me to try out different styles or techniques, rather than to create anything all that great.
